Responsible software procurement depends on clear licensing, accurate information and attention to the requirements of each transaction. This page explains the principles relevant to working with Phatra Global.
Software licensing and authorised use
A software purchase should give the customer the rights needed for its intended deployment. Licence scope, users, devices, term and territorial restrictions should be checked against the applicable vendor agreement. Licence keys and software downloads must not be used to bypass activation, ownership or usage restrictions.
Clear commercial documentation
Customers should receive transaction-specific confirmation of the product, licence type, quantity and commercial terms before committing to an order. Claims about availability, vendor relationships or product capabilities should be supported by current information. Please ask us to clarify anything in a quotation that does not match your requirements.
Vendor responsibilities and support
Software vendors set the licence conditions for their products and may provide activation, updates and technical support directly. A purchase through Phatra Global does not override those conditions. Any additional service or support arrangement should be expressly agreed in the relevant commercial documents.
Privacy and confidential information
Business enquiries should contain only the information needed to discuss the request. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information in a general enquiry. Our Privacy Policy explains the proposed handling of personal information and how to raise a privacy request. Confidential project information may require separate handling arrangements.
Trade restrictions and end use
Software and related technology may be subject to export, re-export, sanctions, territorial or end-use restrictions. The requirements depend on the product, parties, destination and proposed use. A request must not be structured to evade an applicable restriction. Additional information or authorisation may be needed before a transaction can proceed; a website listing is not confirmation that supply is permitted in every situation.
Integrity in business dealings
Our standard for business dealings is straightforward: accurate information, legitimate commercial purposes and no bribes, improper inducements or falsified documents. Anyone discussing an order should be authorised to represent the organisation involved. Please raise unexpected payment instructions or requests that appear inconsistent with the agreed transaction before acting on them.
